Savor the blend of flavors in this Mushroom “Scallop” Fettucine. Highline King Oyster Mushrooms mimic scallops in a homemade creamy alfredo sauce, ready in just 30 minutes.
In medium pan, heat oil on medium heat. Add sliced mushrooms and sauté for 3 minutes on each side until browned.
In another pan on medium heat add butter, garlic, and simmer for 2 minutes. Add cream, Parmesan cheese, salt and pepper. Whisk well and cook for an additional 3 minutes.
Pour Alfredo sauce over fettuccine and toss with reserved pasta water until you achieve the desired consistency.
To serve, plate pasta, top with seared mushrooms, and season with more salt and pepper.
