Press Release on Associate Tragic Accident at Highline Mushrooms – Wellington Farm

March 5, 2022

Leamington, ON March 5, 2022 – The Highline family is grieving the death of an associate from a tragic workplace accident at the Wellington Farm, located at Bloomfield, Ontario.

Our thoughts are with the family and loved ones of the deceased worker, and we will be providing grief counselling for all Wellington associates this week.

We are working closely with the Ministry of Labour to investigate the accident. At this early stage of the investigation, we have no further details. The previously scheduled Wellington on-farm job fair has been cancelled for Tuesday through Thursday this week, and we encourage any job seekers to attend the Chamber Job Fair instead.
